Newscast Producer

KTVT-TV, the Dallas‑Fort Worth CBS Owned and Operated station, is searching for a newscast producer. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, excellent news judgment, and proven advanced storytelling abilities.
Responsibilities

Identify and create content and work closely with reporters on story development. Craft a newscast that includes more than just story placement. Focus on thoughtful transitions and breakout opportunities; strong tease writing; creative use of graphics; and advanced production techniques. Be solid in the booth with effective communication skills, quick decision‑making, and manage breaking news.
Qualifications

Minimum two years proven experience as a line producer in a medium or large market preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
Results‑oriented, innovative, teamwork‑oriented, and willing to work weekends.
Bachelor’s or technical degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred.
