Compensation: USD 18 - USD 22 - hourly

AECOM is seeking an Information & Communications Technology Intern to be based in Hunt Valley, MD. This internship supports the Technology Solutions ICT Team by assisting with infrastructure-related tasks, such as ICT strategy development, system design, and project management.

Responsibilities

Contribute to project documentation, including system designs, technical specifications, and operational recommendations.

Assist in the development of ICT strategies for buildings, cities, and organizations.

Support the design and specification of ICT architectures tailored to meet client needs.

Collaborate with team members to provide vendor‑independent advice and guidance for system design and product selection.

Qualifications

Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with at least one year of study completed. Recent graduates with plans to pursue a master’s degree are eligible.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Strong interest in ICT strategy development, system design, and IT operations optimization.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Prior working experience in a related field is a plus but not required.

Relocation assistance is not available.

Employment authorization sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Hourly rate: $18‑22 per hour.
