Duration: 11 Months Position Summary

The Medical Content Specialist (Contractor) will support the execution of innovative, high-quality medical and scientific content for global, omni-channel use. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop, review, and maintain digital and scientific content tailored to diverse customer types. The ideal candidate brings together a scientific foundation, technical and creative skills, and strong collaboration capabilities to ensure accurate, engaging, and compliant content delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain innovative medical and scientific content for digital and omni-channel platforms

Create and support visually engaging scientific content, including infographics and interactive assets

Perform quality checks and reviews of scientific and medical content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, cross‑functional teams, and vendors to support content needs

Provide departmental and strategic support related to content operations, launches, and ongoing initiatives

Qualifications

Education Bachelor’s degree in Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred

Scientific background strongly preferred

Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, medical information support, or innovative content creation

Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments preferred

Experience working with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and customer support groups

Technical Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign); experience creating scientific infographics and digital content

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including reporting and data interpretation

Experience using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint

Ability to manage multiple priorities and elevate issues appropriately

Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Working Conditions

Hybrid work model with 3 days onsite per week

Flexibility to provide ad‑hoc support during launches and hyper‑care periods, as needed

Frequent collaboration via Microsoft Teams and participation in cross‑functional meetings

This position reports to the Associate Director, Medical Information Content Strategy & Innovation
