Cerner FSI Interface Sr. Developer/Architect

Location: Denver, CO. Nashville, TN. Chicago, IL (Travel on own, ones in a quarter for client meeting)
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
Domain: Healthcare
Tools - Open Engine, Open Port, CCL, Interface Explorer, and other Cerner tools.
Languages - CCL, E-SQL and XML
Databases: Oracle, PLSQL, IBM DB2
Responsibilities
Work through complete interface development life cycle that includes design, interface build, quality check, unit testing, functional testing, go-live, post go-live support and support transition.
Conduct design review meetings with the client to gather their requirements, create the design document and assist the interface engineer in building the interface.
Co-ordinate with the project team and client for unit testing and functional testing.
Implement interfaces like registration/scheduling (ADT/SIU), Charges (DFT), Orders (ORM), Results (ORU), Document (MDM/ORU).
Assist team members on functional and technical knowledge in building the interfaces. Also assist the teams in resolving the ongoing incidents and trouble shooting
Support Interface monitoring and post go-live interface maintenance.
Creating and maintenance of documentation for creating multiple interface types.
