COORDINATOR, INFLUENCER MARKETING/PR – LUXURY MARKETING – NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Coty is seeking a coordinator for influencer marketing and public relations to support U.S. press and influencer strategies for a portfolio of skincare and fragrance brands, including Calvin Klein, Philosophy, Chloé, and niche brands. The role requires strong administrative and communications skills, a keen sense of urgency, and an avid consumer of social media trends.

Responsibilities

PR Initiative Management & Execution

Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritize with managers and assistant managers, while collaborating with other coordinators as needed.

Manage product send‑outs, product mailings, award submissions, and influencer/press deliveries.

Maintain up‑to‑date media and influencer contact lists.

Liaise regularly with cross‑functional teams for product launch updates.

Develop U.S.-relevant pitching materials using global toolkits by writing concise product overviews.

Build and foster relationships with junior editors and assistants.

Represent the brand(s) and function at local and global events.

PR Results Reporting, Analysis & Recommendations.

Proactively monitor and record PR results monthly using Zinio, DMR, and supplemental Google searches.

Update placement trackers with pending, confirmed, and published press.

Manage monthly U.S. press coverage reports with detailed analysis.

Recap and analyze press events, influencer activations, and initiatives.

Influencer Reporting, Analysis & Recommendations.

Contribute to identifying U.S. and brand-relevant influencers for paid and unpaid programming.

Craft outreach emails and liaise with influencers/agents to secure opt‑ins to unpaid mailings.

Manage internal and external vendors to execute unpaid mailings in their entirety.

Build and foster relationships with influencers and their agents.

Maintain influencer campaigns daily in influencer tracking platform(s).

Recap influencer activity and provide performance insights and recommendations.

Business Processes & Forecasting.

Forecast and order product, press materials, and assets via SAP/Ariba in collaboration with local IM teams.

Oversee product closet inventory for accuracy and organization.

Manage vendor relationships and timely payments through purchase orders.

Team Support & Communication.

Collaborate with the broader Influencer Marketing & PR team, and cross‑functional departments.

Communicate clearly and professionally on behalf of the department and brands.

Uphold Coty brand values and represent luxury brands with professionalism.

Qualifications
Essential

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

1+ years of professional experience in Public Relations, Influencer Marketing, Social Media, or related fields.

Strong organizational, administrative, and written/verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.

Interest in beauty, media, and influencer marketing industries.

Proven experience partnering effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Shows initiative, integrity, dependability, and a positive, proactive attitude.

Able to commute to the NYC office daily.

Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset while demonstrating adaptability, strong problem‑solving skills, and resourcefulness.

Experience working with beauty or lifestyle brands; prestige/luxury brand experience preferred.

Genuine interest in Calvin Klein, Philosophy, and Chloé, including their brand worlds, aesthetics, and consumer communities.

Prior experience assisting with events, mailers, or press/influencer send‑outs.

Familiarity using Traackr, SAP/Ariba, DMR, Zinio, or similar reporting platforms.

Understanding of paid social, usage rights, and creator partnerships.

Understanding of the beauty press landscape with familiarity of print and digital outlets.

Interest in identifying rising talent or new creators within beauty and lifestyle.

Foundational understanding of analytics and performance metrics (EMV, reach, views, UMV, circulation, editorial value, etc.).
