This is a high-impact growth role focused on shaping and scaling organic acquisition across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. You will take ownership of SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy, ensuring strong visibility in Google as well as AI systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. The role is deeply tied to business outcomes, with a strong emphasis on driving high-intent traffic that converts into paid customers rather than vanity metrics. You will operate in a fast-moving, performance-oriented environment where experimentation, autonomy, and strategic thinking are essential. A key part of your mission will be to build category authority in a competitive and evolving digital landscape. Accountabilities

Own and scale organic and AI-driven search as a core revenue channel, directly contributing to paid customer acquisition and conversion goals
Develop and execute an integrated SEO and GEO strategy across blog content, landing pages, and AI discovery platforms
Build category authority by improving visibility in Google and increasing citation frequency across LLM-based platforms
Design intent-based keyword and content strategies that align search behavior with high-conversion product journeys
Identify authority and visibility gaps, leading digital PR, backlink, and citation-building initiatives
Manage external vendors and contractors across SEO, content production, and link-building activities, ensuring performance is tied to business outcomes
Lead technical SEO audits and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize site structure, performance, and indexability
Partner with marketing, paid media, CRO, and product teams to align acquisition strategies and improve conversion performance
Track and report on organic performance with a strong focus on revenue impact and business KPIs rather than traffic metrics
Requirements

4–7+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth, or content strategy roles in performance-driven environments
Proven ability to connect SEO initiatives directly to revenue, conversions, or customer acquisition outcomes
Strong experience in technical SEO, on-page optimization, and backlink acquisition strategies, including digital PR and citation building
Hands‑on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms
Practical understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how LLMs surface and rank content
Familiarity with AI search tracking tools such as Otterly.AI, Peec AI, LLMrefs, or Profound is a plus
Experience managing CMS platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, or similar systems
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data insights to revenue outcomes
Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, or contractors in SEO or content‑related work
Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally in fast‑paced environments
