Position Overview
This Account Manager role focuses on penetrating the market to drive sales of Urgo products—Drawtex, Vashe, and other portfolio items—using solution‑based and concept‑selling approaches across hospitals, clinics, long‑term care, and home health settings. You will receive product and sales training and operate under experienced management, with uncapped earnings potential.

Responsibilities

Conduct sales calls to hospitals and wound centers within a defined territory.

Set appointments with hospital staff and administrators.

Manage all leads and customer relationships within the territory.

Educate customers on product advantages, features, clinical benefits, and innovative solutions.

Provide product demonstrations and support.

Communicate between sales, marketing, and support teams to improve customer experience.

Maintain Salesforce.com data and other sales documentation.

Achieve sales targets and manage territory while closing new business.

Complete administrative tasks: training modules, expense reports, forecasts.

Build relationships with key stakeholders and executive‑level managers.

Travel up to 50 % within assigned territory, including overnight travel.

Implement and maintain the Quality System effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in health science or business/marketing).

Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record.

Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and sales skills.

Ability to independently drive results, work collaboratively, and problem‑solve.

Proficiency with databases, customer‑relationship management tools, and Microsoft Office.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Indoor environment with temperature control.

20 % domestic travel and territory travel as required.

50 % sitting, 50 % standing/walking; occasional lifting of 10–20 lb.
