Role Overview
A UX Content Manager will elevate the user experience across the organization’s digital channels by creating intuitive, streamlined user journeys that drive engagement, strengthen brand affinity, and support key business KPIs. The role leads the planning, creation, and optimization of user‑centered content across consumer‑facing digital experiences, partnering with UX, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure content is clear, compliant, and aligned to both user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with UX Design, Strategy and Research teams to develop content‑led experiences that optimize user flows and improve usability.
Plan, write, edit, and implement UX content across web, mobile app and email, including headlines, body copy, microcopy, and UI messaging.
Translate content strategy into execution, including page hierarchy, content structure, metadata, taxonomy, and search considerations.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Marketing Managers, and stakeholders to clarify objectives, define content needs, and deliver against timelines.
Ensure content quality, consistency, and compliance across consumer‑facing experiences.
Support continuous improvement by testing, iterating, and optimizing content based on performance data, user feedback, and research insights.
Advise on content needs for digital tools and platforms, ensuring they support best practices for UX content delivery.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience working on digital or web product teams, closely collaborating with UX designers, developers, product managers, and analysts.
Demonstrated expertise in UX writing and UX copywriting, including buttons, form labels, help text, tooltips, alerts, error messages, headlines, summaries, and short‑form content.
Working knowledge of digital content fundamentals, including web publishing and CMS workflows, responsive design principles, information architecture and usability, conceptual understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, as well as search, taxonomy, and metadata.
Experience analyzing and applying insights from user research, analytics, search behavior, and market trends.
Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present content decisions to stakeholders.
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in content strategy, content operations, or content system management.
Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum ways of working.
Experience working in Figma and collaborating within design systems.
Experience creating or supporting mobile app content experiences.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $40.00 to $50.00 per hour. The pay rate will be determined on an individual basis and may be impacted by factors such as qualifications, experience, and market location. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
