We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Officer to join our team. This role supports marketing initiatives for The Savings Bank and First Financial Trust, ensuring a cohesive, multi-channel approach that strengthens brand awareness, customer engagement, and community presence.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Develops, executes, and analyzes digital and traditional marketing programs using a multi‑channel approach for both The Savings Bank and First Financial Trust. Leads social media strategy, content development, and engagement. Manages community relations, corporate philanthropy and sponsorships, and community and institutional events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Supports the SVP of Marketing with the development of the Bank’s strategies for branding, advertising, and marketing communications, and assists in the implementation of marketing strategies and activities related to data analytics, website content, digital marketing and reporting.

Analyzes campaign performance metrics, adoption, conversion, and overall results making strategic adjustments to campaigns when needed.

Responsible for brand management ensuring cohesive branding across all channels and platforms.

Takes the lead on creating and executing reports from the marketing customer information files (MCIF), customer relationship management tools (CRM), and other customer data sources. Serves as a liaison with related third‑party partners.

Creates and manages social media content, strategy, ad plans, and engagement and growth.

Assists with website content generation, development, and analytics.

Supports financial education programs and financial literacy tools that educate both customers and non‑customers.

Manages community relations and cultivates community contacts to increase awareness and collaborative opportunities in all market areas. Participates in community activities, promotional campaigns and branch related events serving as an ambassador to the bank.

Participates in, plans, and assists with Bank run seminars, events and receptions.

Generates buy‑in from branch teams and business units on marketing and sales tactics.

Works with SVP of Marketing on the marketing budget including forecasting, reconciliation, and sponsorship tracking.

Maintains Community Reinvestment Act activity files.

Required to participate in trainings, and comply with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State banking laws and regulations.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

3 to 5 years related experience.

Knowledge of advertising compliance for financial institutions.

Strong communication, presentation, copywriting, and organization skills.

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and Marketing Automation software, Adobe Creative Suite, Social Media tools.

PAY RANGE
$71,225.20 – $92,654.88

The salary range represents an estimate based on market data for this position. Final compensation decisions are made based on experience, skills, and internal equity to ensure fairness and consistency across our organization.
