Responsible for growing our network of independent insurance agencies by prospecting, marketing, and building relationships to recruit new member agencies.
This role combines strategic business development with consultative selling to help agencies succeed and grow.
Develop and maintain a high-volume prospect pipeline of start-up agencies, scratch agencies, existing agency owners, and larger opportunity partners.
Partner with marketing to create and deploy effective materials to generate qualified leads.
Identify, contact, and engage prospective agencies through calls, in-person visits, field work, and social media.
Evaluate agency suitability for membership in the network and guide prospects through the onboarding process.
Negotiate and execute membership agreements as directed by the master agency.
Maintain accurate documentation of all leads, recruiting activity, and agency interactions in the CRM.
Participate in team meetings, training, and development opportunities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
3-5 years of P&C sales experience
Preferred background in insurance, B2B sales, or entreprenuership
Proven track record in commercial insurance sales
or
strong B2B sales experience with interest in commercial lines
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and market dynamics
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with middle-market accounts
Existing carrier relationships and market knowledge
Experience using AMS and Salesforce platforms
