Web Developer/Analyst

The Web Developer/Analyst plays a key role on our Web and Mobile Technology team, helping build and support the university’s digital experience. You’ll work on our website, CMS, portal, mobile apps, and several integrated systems, ensuring they are reliable, secure, accessible, and high‑performing.
This position collaborates with hosting partners, vendors, and campus teams to troubleshoot issues and keep our applications running smoothly. You’ll also support styling, development, and administration for platforms such as ServiceNow, LiveWhale Calendar, AdAstra Scheduling, and Ellucian Banner Self‑Service.
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of professional experience in a web development position
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with a server-side language such as PHP or Python
Understanding of core web concepts (HTTP, sessions, security fundamentals)
Experience using version control (e.g., Git) and debugging/troubleshooting issues
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a CMS, especially Modern Campus CMS
Familiarity with web analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio)
Experience with ServiceNow administration/programming
Proficiency in SQL for Oracle or Postgres
Experience building or consuming APIs (REST or similar)
Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
Familiarity with SEO and web performance best practices
Experience working with non-technical stakeholders in higher education environments
Experience with Ellucian Banner Self‑Service administration
Salary
Starting at $57,733
Telework
Position eligible for telework: Yes. Possible one day a week of telework.
Work Schedule
Hours Per Week: 40, Months per Year: 12, Normal Work Schedule: 8am-5pm M-F.
