What You’ll Do
Pitch stories to media outlets and secure coverage
Identify opportunities to highlight our teachers and organization in the news
Draft press releases, media pitches, and outreach emails
Support social media and brand awareness efforts
Research media contacts and build outreach lists
Track and report on media placements and engagement
Step in where needed to move projects forward
What You Bring
Current college student or recent graduate (communications, PR, marketing, or related field preferred)
Strong writing and communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Interest in media, storytelling, and brand building

This is a part-time summer role designed for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience in communications and public relations.
Pay:
$15–$20 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Flexible hours (approximately 15–20 hours per week)
Location:
Hybrid
Required: 1 day per week in-office (6 hours) in Atlanta, GA
Remaining hours: Remote
