Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support our production and screen-printing operations. This role focuses on preparing, adjusting, and optimizing artwork for high-quality print output while collaborating closely with the screen print department. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and has a strong understanding of print processes, color management, and file preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and finalize customer-supplied and in-house designs for screen printing production

Separate artwork by color and create print-ready files for multi-color jobs

Adjust designs to meet screen printing requirements, including trapping, halftones, and proper resolution

Ensure color accuracy using Pantone matching and color calibration techniques

Collaborate with the screen print team to ensure designs translate effectively from digital to physical prints

Review proofs and conduct pre-production checks to minimize errors and waste

Maintain organized file systems and version control for production assets

Collaborate with Marketing for ad campaigns and other marketing projects

Operate within production timelines and prioritize multiple jobs simultaneously

Troubleshoot artwork issues and recommend improvements for print quality and efficiency

Requirements

2+ years of graphic design experience in a production or print environment

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop; InDesign a plus)

Strong understanding of screen-printing processes, including separations and ink behavior

Experience with vector artwork and preparing files for print production

Knowledge of color theory, Pantone systems, and color matching

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and collaboration skills
