Job Description
Oswego Studios—a Buffalo Groupe company and 35-year corporate video leader based in Lakewood, Colorado—seeks a reliable, experienced and detail-oriented Senior Editor to create engaging stories and help elevate the visual standard of our content across a wide range of clients and industries.
The Role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage creative edits from ingest to final export using original raw footage to select the best takes and create compelling stories for delivery to a range of platforms.
- Collaborate with producers and multiple stakeholders to meet or exceed client expectations on time and within budget.
- Work within established post-production workflows.
- Create motion graphics, sound design and perform color grading at a professional level.
- Be up-to-date on current trends in the industry, both creatively and technically.
What You Bring
- Experience with NLE editing software (DaVinci Resolve preferred, Adobe or Avid)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and make revisions appropriately
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly
- Ability to to work in a fast-paced, high volume facility and manage multiple projects
- Experience creating motion graphics, color correction, & sound design
- Familiarity with documentary style edits, social media and short-form content
- A positive, can-do attitude
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video, Media Production, or equivalent professional experience.
- Portfolio or reel required
Compensation & Benefits
- $72,000/year & commensurate with experience
- Benefits include health insurance and 401(k).
