The
Video Systems Technician I
is responsible for daily set‑up, programming, and troubleshooting of camera systems and related software platforms, and maintaining asset management software. The Video Systems Technician I will ensure accuracy with closing work tickets, comply with all safety and quality control procedures, and provide excellent customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Video Systems team leadership with all assigned tasks.
Complete and submit assigned work tickets accurately and timely. The submitted work tickets should include detailed and grammatically correct notes.
Identify offline units daily through review of software platform and address offline units by communicating with internal team to determine course of action.
Program camera systems with accuracy according the quality control measures.
Create work‑tickets as required.
Survey client communication channels to determine any troubleshooting issues that need to be addressed. Work with internal team to address needs.
Assist with project building and regular periodic system asset audits through asset management systems.
Assist with maintenance of internal platforms as directed by video systems leadership.
Assist with field operations as required. If assigned to go on job site, maintain compliance for site entry including drug screening, PPE, OSHA certification, First Aid certification, and any other site‑specific requirements.
Ensure the company's safety program is always met at a zero‑tolerance on the project site. Champion job site quality control and safety.
Deliver excellent customer service and teamwork in all aspects of daily work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Maintains a valid driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Basic understanding of electricity, low voltage, battery, solar, and related programming.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suites and Google Suites.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks.

The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Special vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment, particularly when in the field, can vary significantly and at times be very loud. The employee occasionally will be subject to working outside in the elements all seasons throughout the year.
