You are a creative, data-driven, and strategic marketer with experience leading paid, organic, and influencer marketing efforts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. You enjoy coordinating digital product campaigns and using insight-led strategies to drive product discovery, engagement, and sales.
You stay current with analytics, digital trends, and creative promotions, and ideally have an understanding of the educational publishing marketplace. You are collaborative and enjoy working alongside marketing directors and internal teams to plan, create, test, and optimize content and campaigns that amplify programs and authors across the digital landscape
Key Responsibilities
Execute the digital advertising, social media, and influencer marketing efforts across paid and organic channels.
Implement data-driven campaigns that translate audience insights into platform-specific executions to maximize reach and engagement for the sale of our educational products.
Oversee planning, execution, and performance optimization for pre-sale, on-sale, and long-term campaigns.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, marketing operations, publicity, editorial, creative, brand, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and timing.
Advise authors, educational contributors, and creators on best practices and platform strategies to grow their audiences and visibility.
Define and refine educational audience segments based on behavioral data, platform trends, and community engagement.
Translate audience insights into actionable strategies that inform creative direction, targeting, and budget allocation.
Lead the planning and continuous optimization of paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads, and other digital platforms.
Develop and manage A/B testing for creatives, copy, and audience segments to improve CTR, engagement and sales.
Create and refine audience targeting frameworks that balance efficiency with discovery, ensuring campaigns reach the most receptive audience of educators, administrators, and decision makers of both U.S. and international educational programming for grades PreK – 12.
Monitor budgets and performance to maximize ROI while maintaining strategic agility.
Track, measure, and report on campaign performance, ROI, and audience growth.
Present results and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders in clear, actionable formats.
Continuously evolve performance dashboards to better connect marketing investment with audience impact and sales outcomes.
Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality organic content, including copy, images, and video, tailored to each platform’s educational audience and format.
Oversee the maintenance and updates of consumer-facing website products in relation to the seasonal digital and social marketing promotions.
Coordinate HubSpot marketing and lead gen campaigns with the Associate Director of Marketing Operations.
Identify and act on emerging trends, formats, and engagement behaviors, especially within professional development and related online teaching communities.
Foster authentic community engagement and audience growth by understanding the tone, rhythm, and visual language of each platform.
Build and manage relationships with educational influencers, BookTokers, BookTubers, and creators to amplify key program releases and learning initiatives.
Oversee influencer outreach, briefing, creative coordination, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with audience and campaign goals.
Coordinate and schedule social media and website promotions with the product marketers, marketing operations, and design marketing teams while fostering creativity and results-driven experimentation.
Work cross-functionally to align digital initiatives and marketing funnel with larger brand and marketing goals, ensuring cohesive storytelling and audience experiences.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
5+ years of experience in digital and social media marketing
Hands-on experience managing paid, organic, and influencer marketing campaigns
Strong experience with Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram); TikTok and YouTube Ads experience is a plus
Proven ability to optimize campaign performance through A/B testing, analytics, and data-driven decision making
Experience with audience development, segmentation, and campaign targeting
Familiarity with analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Center, Meltwater, or similar platforms
Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Experience with SEO, website marketing, ecommerce platforms, and content management systems
Basic design skills using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in educational publishing or education-focused marketing
Experience working with influencers, creators, or online communities
Understanding of digital trends and audience engagement within K–12 education communities
Passion for education, literacy, storytelling, and building meaningful audience connections
Self-motivated, creative, and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Compensation & Culture
This role offers a competitive annual salary range of $80,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience, as well as comprehensive benefits and generous paid time off. You’ll join a passionate, collaborative, and creative team that genuinely enjoys working together and making an impact.
