We're hiring the person who's going to own how Goodie Bag shows up in the world. Not a manager. A maker. Someone who texts the group chat on a Sunday because they just had a great idea and cannot wait to try it.

About us
Goodie Bag is creating a more sustainable and accessible local food system. Our mobile app based platform connects people to exclusive offers on food from local businesses. We empower small businesses and give people the best deals in town while reducing waste. We're a small team taking on a real problem, competing with players 150x our size, and having a blast doing it. Unapologetically anti‑corporate. Authentic. Transparent. Open communication. Laughter welcome. Respect assumed, not earned through hierarchy.

This is not a 9 to 5. The people who thrive here do not want it to be. Our CEO uses the word "stoked" more than "normal" and our COO runs long distances more than "normal." Not normal is magic.

The role
You'll lead and evolve our brand across social, digital, influencer, and physical touchpoints. You'll be out in NYC every week filming partner spotlights, founder moments, bag unboxings, and the kind of street‑style content people share with their friends at 11pm.

You won't just manage accounts. You'll build a brand people actually love. Over time, this role grows into C‑level creative leadership for the right person. We're not just offering a job. We're offering a seat at the table while the table is still being built.

What you'll own

Instagram and TikTok accounts

Original short‑form video, ideated, shot, edited, and posted by you

Graphic design across digital and physical (social, web, billboards, coupon cards, merch, pitch decks)

Influencer pipeline and brand partnerships

Community management and DMs

Building and leading the creative team as we scale

What you need to be great at

Short‑form video, end to end. Light weight social media trends & original content + docu‑series level ability

On‑camera presence. Comfortable doing street‑style content and partner interviews.

Graphic design across digital and physical.

AI‑native content creation.

Building influencer pipelines at scale.

Speed and consistency without dropping the ball.

Bonus
Figma, Wix, paid social (Meta / TikTok / Google / Reddit), SEO basics.

Who this is for
You've built or grew a brand account, not just managed one. You think in series, not one‑off posts. You're trend‑fluent. You get the difference between "edgy and fun" and "a corporate brand trying to be edgy and fun" and you'd never let us become the second one. You're motivated by ownership, mission, and the very specific thrill of building something from nothing.

If you'd rather oversee content from a distance, want a structured playbook, or aren't fired up about being out in NYC every week, this isn't your role. We'd rather be honest here than waste anyone's time.

Comp

Starts as a one‑month paid contract at the equivalent of $80k/year. Real paid engagement from day one, not a free trial. The expectation is a full‑time offer at the end. Full‑time package: $80k base, health insurance, meaningful equity, and a real path to executive leadership.
