Part‑time FRS VAK SOCCENT (Iraq) Position

Nightwing is seeking a Part‑time employee to work as a

PT VAK Field Service Representative

in support of a DoD contract providing technical equipment advisory and support for SOCCENT (Iraq).

Core Qualifications

Must have an active and current Secret clearance (or a higher level).

Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start.

U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Mentor and advise senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities, and employment techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs).

Assist in developing and implementing concepts of operations (CONOPs).

Provide sustainment training as needed on specialized technical equipment.

Coordinate with RBT (SOG) headquarters for specialized program support.

Preferred Skills

Retired or former Special Operations soldier with 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity.

Recent combat experience.

Experience with or technical information collection equipment to support War on Terrorism goals.

Experience with web‑based applications including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, FalconView, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Point.

Ability to travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision.

Must be able to transport a 35‑pound load without assistance.

CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support unit.

Typical Requirements

A university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant work experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
