What You’ll Do
Serve as a technical resource for internal sales teams, engineers, contractors, and customers.
Interpret construction plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements to recommend appropriate products.
Provide product training and presentations to engineering firms, DOT personnel, municipal officials, distributors, and contractors.
Assist customers with product selection, custom configurations, load calculations, and installation best practices.
Promote company products through presentations, lunch‑and‑learns, trade shows, job-site visits, and industry association meetings.
Develop or assist with technical marketing materials such as brochures, submittals, design guides, case studies, and project profiles.
Monitor competitor products and market trends to identify opportunities and strategic positioning.
Work alongside sales representatives to expand market share through technical engagement.
Support project planning, bidding, and pre‑construction efforts.
Provide specification support to ensure company products are included in engineering plans.
Participate in key account development by offering professional technical consultation.
What You’ll Need
5+ years of experience in technical sales, marketing, or product support.
Knowledge of precast concrete, RCP, stormwater systems, and relevant ASTM/AASHTO/DOT standards.
Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts to explain product capabilities to stakeholders.
Skill in delivering presentations, training, and lunch‑and‑learns.
Ability to troubleshoot installation or product‑related issues in the field.
Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using CRM or basic design/CAD tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, travel, and deadlines.
Your Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
