Music Department Office Student Worker
Help the Music Department with a variety of tasks to keep the department humming for 4-5 hours per week.
Transferable skills include organization, responsibility, confidentiality, proper execution of general office tasks, and professionalism.
Duties and responsibilities include filing, copying, organizing cabinets and storage spaces, distributing mail, hanging posters, updating Google Docs, Forms, and Sheets, etc. Answering or returning phone calls as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
Dependability and reliability are required, including the ability to meet deadlines. Well-organized and ability to work with little supervision at times. The candidate must be able to responsibly handle access to confidential information.
Ability to use Google Suite preferred. Ability to learn how to use WordPress.
This position requires occasional crouching, kneeling/crawling, stooping, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, and lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs. to perform the essential functions. It also requires rare exposure to loud noise, as well as rare exposure to respiratory factors (dust) to perform the essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
