Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Coordinator at The Bar, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Social Media Coordinator will manage daily content creation and scheduling across all social media platforms, monitor engagement, and analyze campaign performance metrics. Additional responsibilities include strategizing and executing social media marketing campaigns, engaging with online communities, and ensuring consistent brand voice and message. Collaboration with the marketing and creative teams to align social strategies with broader brand initiatives will be a key focus.

Responsibilities
Content & Asset Generation

Assist in creating and organizing social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms

Capture behind-the-scenes content, product moments, styling content, events, fittings, shoots, and founder-led storytelling

Coordinate photo/video assets with internal teams, creators, and freelancers

Edit short-form video and static content optimized for platform performance

Maintain organized content libraries and asset management systems

Social Media Rollout & Strategy Execution

Execute weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with brand initiatives, launches, and campaigns

Schedule and publish content across platforms

Support execution of social growth strategies, engagement initiatives, and campaign rollouts

Monitor trends, platform updates, and viral formats to identify new opportunities for the brand

Track performance metrics and provide insights on content effectiveness

Influencer Relations & Gifting

Manage influencer outreach, gifting logistics, and relationship building

Research and identify creators, tastemakers, and brand-aligned talent

Coordinate gifting lists, shipment tracking, and follow-up communication

Maintain influencer databases and track earned social coverage

Support creator partnerships and campaign execution from outreach through posting

Qualifications

Proficiency in Social Media Content Creation and Social Media Marketing

Strong skills in Communication and Writing

Experience with Digital Marketing strategies and tools

Familiarity with analytics platforms for tracking campaign performance

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of the fashion and retail industry preferred

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
