Pre-Press Artist

Job Description
Prepress Artist is responsible for preparing artwork and digital files for high-quality printing, ensuring that all visual materials—such as packaging, marketing material, labels, and other print assets—are technically accurate, print‑ready, and optimized for the intended production process. The role also involves creating and modifying artwork for the Sales Service and requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

Prepare artwork and digital files for high‑quality printing.

Ensure visual materials are technically accurate, print‑ready, and optimized.

Create and modify artwork for the Sales Service.

Organize tasks efficiently and work independently with minimal direction.

Required Knowledge

Good understanding of manufacturing processes.

Good to high understanding of PCs and Macintosh systems.

Proficiency with related computer applications, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Suitcase Fusion, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience

High school graduate or equivalent.

College or technical degree preferred in a related field such as graphic design, visual communication, or printing technology.

Compensation
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $22 to $25 per hour plus bonus and benefits. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all U.S. locations. Within that range, individual pay is determined by job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
