Freelance Videographer

By filming on location at live news events, you’ll play a vital part in shaping RSBN’s visual storytelling. Duties

Plan and coordinate, including setting up equipment and framing shots to ensure optimal visual quality

Film footage LIVE on location, capturing dynamic scenes with attention to detail

Collaborate with talent and studio production crew to ensure logistical understanding of event timelines, equipment needs, and set up

Incorporate lighting effects, and color correction to enhance video quality and storytelling impact

Manage live production tasks including sound editing, color grading

Requirements

Proven experience in live event production and videography

Ability to operate professional cameras, lighting setups, and audio recording equipment effectively. Willing to train technical candidates.

Ability to navigate logistics, ask questions, and incorporate feedback

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively within tight deadlines

Must be based in Auburn, AL, or within easy driving distance, and willing to travel nationwide.

Pay: $50.00 – $80.00 per hour
