Position Overview
OCCU is hiring a Social Media and Brand Partnerships Specialist to join its Marketing team. The role is hybrid, based in Oregon, and offers a starting pay range of $34.00 to $42.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and execute engaging social media content across priority platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

Maintain a cohesive content calendar that aligns social media efforts with organizational and marketing goals.

Write and publish compelling social media copy and coordinate visual assets.

Monitor and engage with audiences, analyzing performance to drive results.

Lead the planning and execution of sponsorship‑related events to support membership growth and retention.

Ensure consistent brand representation across all channels, delivering measurable ROI.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on integrated marketing initiatives.

Support grassroots and community‑focused marketing efforts.

Qualifications

At least three years of experience in marketing or communications, with proven ability to support or manage social media content.

Advanced knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok) and current trends and best practices.

Preferred experience with MetaAds Manager.

Demonstrated experience in partnerships, sponsorships, university or sports marketing.

Familiarity with financial services and experience using social marketing content tools such as Hootsuite or analogous analytics platforms.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience in achieving measurable business outcomes.
