VAR Sales District Manager

Value-Added Reseller DM (National/United States): As a Major Accounts VAR DM, you will identify and cultivate new business opportunities by driving strategic HCM initiatives to enable the sales activities of the VAR sales team. You will build relationships with VAR firms, pull leads from various centers of influence, co‑sell with the VAR firm, and grow your own business while receiving exceptional sales leadership support, training, advancement opportunities, and competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards.

Responsibilities

Consistently achieve or exceed an annual sales quota, focusing primarily on new account acquisition.

Develop and execute VAR firm business plans to define strategies and tactics for success, leveraging the Partner Advantage Reseller Program.

Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with internal channels, product, and integration partners, optimizing the center of influence to best fit prospects and VAR needs during the sales process.

Work independently as well as collaboratively with a team to drive HCM expansion with new and existing clients and firms.

Apply technical knowledge regarding ERP integrations.

Minimum Qualifications

A college degree is great but not required; relevant experience and skills are more important.

Minimum of 5+ years of quota‑carrying, outside B2B sales experience, with proven selling, presentation, prospecting, and territory management skills.

Track record of over‑achieving quota.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

New‑business sales experience.

Military experience – teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust‑building, and a strong “never lose” mentality.

Preferred Qualifications

5–10 years of relevant experience in HCM, business consulting, finance, or accounting.

In-depth understanding of strategic sales processes.

Strong communication and presentation skills to C‑suite level executives.

Ability to leverage social media to promote thought leadership ideas and drive business development opportunities locally.

Utilization of an established network of connections.

Strong business acumen with the ability to understand multiple industry issues and potential integration approaches for ADP’s HCM solutions.

Mature and self-confident.

Capacity to work under pressure.

Strong work ethic.

Committed to building a long‑term career path.

ERP, consulting, or finance experience.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners.

Benefits & Compensation
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $56,100.00 – USD $121,500.00 per year.
