Principal Account Executive, Home and Personal Care

Google’s Home and Personal Care team seeks an experienced and entrepreneurial Principal Account Executive to partner with senior clients to develop joint business plans, influence business strategy and build key marketing initiatives that extend well beyond media. You will deliver a full suite of Google advertising solutions, help clients grow their investments, and commit to customer success.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
11 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building trusted‑advisor relationships with C‑level executives and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
Experience with Video or Performance advertising products such as Programmatic Video and Display, YouTube, or similar products.
Experience with Google Ad Solutions and an understanding of the competitive landscape across traditional and digital media advertising.
Understanding of the CPG industry and landscape.
Proven ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments, influence and collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.
Responsibilities
Engage and influence key decision‑makers, including C‑suite executives, to understand their core business challenges and strategic priorities.
Lead the development of joint business plans and VIP and Upfronts planning, aligning with customers on ambitious goals and establishing shared accountability to unlock transformative growth opportunities.
Design and pitch powerful, data‑driven Google solutions tailored to customer needs, leveraging in‑depth knowledge of Google’s advertising offerings and compelling storytelling while effectively navigating objections to secure investment and exceed revenue sales targets.
Demonstrate Google’s value by measuring campaign results against customer objectives and competitors’ offerings, and share data‑driven insights that shape customer strategies and reinforce the partnership.
Own the customer’s growth trajectory by proactively identifying and cultivating a robust pipeline of new opportunities, leveraging insights and proven success to expand the partnership.
The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $162,000–$234,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level and location; additional pay is based on job‑related skills, experience and education. Compensation details may vary by location.
