Overview
Aurora Sewing Center is looking for a highly creative, digitally savvy, and self-driven Marketing Coordinator to lead and execute our marketing efforts across multiple channels and locations. We are a community for sewing, quilting, embroidery, and creative makers. This role focuses on elevating our brand, growing customer engagement, and creating compelling marketing experiences both online and in-store.
What You’ll Do
As our Marketing Coordinator, you will own and execute marketing initiatives that support business growth both in-store and digitally, manage customer engagement, and brand awareness across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute marketing campaigns aligned with company goals and vendor promotions
Manage and grow digital advertising campaigns through marketing channels including:
Email marketing
Social media (Facebook/Meta, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business)
Website promotions and content
Create engaging and visually compelling marketing assets including:
Social media graphics and posts
Email campaigns
Print materials and signage
Promotional videos and digital content
Manage website content including products, events, classes, promotions, and SEO optimization
Track campaign performance, analyze metrics, and recommend improvements
Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all customer touchpoints
Coordinate and promote in-store events, educational programs, and off-site experiences
Collaborate closely with store teams to understand products, customer trends, and promotional opportunities
Work with vendors to advance and refresh our website capabilities and customer interface and experience
Work with vendor marketing portals and co-op opportunities to maximize brand exposure
Engage with customers online by responding to messages, comments, reviews, and social interactions
Lead and support the Marketing Assistant through project coordination and prioritization
Present campaign performance insights and recommendations to ownership

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of solid digital marketing experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
Strong Experience With
Digital Advertising
Website management, SEO, analytics, and email marketing
Meta Business Suite
Google Analytics & Google Advertising
YouTube and social media management
Creative – Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
Website management – Shopify
Email campaigns – Klaviyo
Project management experience
Retail marketing or customer service experience preferred
Interest or knowledge in sewing, quilting, embroidery, or creative hobbies is strongly preferred

Ability to travel between store locations to market and generate creatives for all retail stores, and for off-site events
Desire to learn and explore new
