Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
11 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience leading a sales team or developing sales professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading teams with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
Experience in pipeline management and sales funnel management.
Experience in change management and ambiguity.
Experience in the digital advertising industry.
Ability to work with regional and global teams.
Ability to demonstrate success in developing business teams and working towards goals.

As the Sales Manager, Customer Onboarding for the United States East region, you will lead a team of individual contributors across multiple 'pods'. In this role, you will work with new customers to navigate them through the world of digital marketing: crafting marketing objectives, developing media strategies, and setting them up with the right Google Ads product to reach key milestones. Additionally, you will be managing business operations, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to foster alignment and to drive customers long‑term success.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $162,000–$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Responsibilities
Oversee business performance of assigned portfolio of accounts. Achieve quarterly goals and manage performance expectations with teams.
Partner across different sales teams to align and foster winning as "One Team" to drive the customer sustainability.
Provide career coaching/performance feedback and development opportunities on a regular basis. Lead by example and inspire others by doing the right thing for our customers.
Ensure healthy pipeline and work side by side with your product sellers (meet customers/shadow calls/co‑pitch) coaching to grow their sales and product skills.
Develop and implement best practices that can be applied across Google.
