Overview
Seeking a Product Category Manager to drive growth and innovation within the automotive and powersports performance aftermarket. This role focuses on identifying new product opportunities, developing category strategies, and partnering with engineering and product development teams to bring high-performance products to market.
Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and market share
Identify new product opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, and vehicle trends
Build and manage product roadmaps aligned with business objectives
Product Innovation
Lead product ideation and define requirements based on market needs
Act as the voice of the customer throughout development
Partner with engineering to deliver differentiated, high-performance products
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Monitor industry trends in automotive and powersports aftermarket
Analyze competitor offerings, pricing, and positioning
Leverage vehicle platform and fitment data to prioritize opportunities
Product Launch & Lifecycle Management
Collaborate with sales and marketing on go-to-market strategies
Define product positioning, features, and value propositions
Track performance and optimize category strategy
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
5+ years of experience in product/category management or product development in automotive or powersports aftermarket
Strong knowledge of performance aftermarket and enthusiast markets
Proven ability to drive new product introductions
Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with stage-gate product development processes
Familiarity with vehicle fitment data and aftermarket distribution channels
Passion for automotive or powersports performance
