Instructional Media Designer

A client in Spring, TX is looking for an Instructional Media Designer for their internal Learning Organization team that provides training for all of the company. This will be a "net new" role created to lead the end-to-end production of high-impact learning assets. This role will alleviate the current department workload by taking ownership of the most technically demanding creative tasks, including 3D modeling, high end video development, and interactive e-learning modules. This person will apply adult learning theory to ensure all visual content from 3D renderings to training videos is pedagogically sound and effective for a diverse workforce. This role is looking to pay $80,000 annually.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in the graphic design world

5+ years in end-to-end video production specifically for training or educational environments.

3+ years hands-on with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign)

1+ year in audio/video editing (Premier Pro, Audition, Pro Tools).

Expert-level use of Articulate Storyline/360.

2+ years in adult learning design and development.

Expert understanding of 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, Rhino, Blender).

Strong command of adult learning theory and how it relates to media technology design.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus.

Familiarity with Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental (HSQE) management systems is beneficial.

Experience in Marine Engineering or Oil & Gas is highly preferred
