Business Development Executive, Retained Search Practice - Atlanta, GA
Our client is a well-established and highly reputable woman-owned professional staffing and search firm based in Atlanta. They are looking to hire a Business Development Executive to add to their Retained Search practice to focus exclusively on generating new retained search engagements.

What you’ll do:

Drive new business through retained executive search sales

Develop and manage relationships with C-suite stakeholders (CEO, CIO, CTO, CPO, CISO, CFO, COO, etc.)

Leverage existing success stories and brand credibility to win new engagements

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of executive-level search opportunities

Attend and actively participate in networking events across Atlanta and Georgia

Collaborate with internal leadership and delivery teams to ensure successful engagement kickoff

Contribute to achieving division revenue goals (target ~$1.3M annually)

What you need:

Proven experience selling retained executive search (required)

Demonstrated success closing searches at the C-suite level, particularly in technology

Experience working directly with senior executives and board-level stakeholders

Strong personal network and ability to generate new client relationships

Track record of consistent production with minimal job-hopping

Confidence and presence to sit across from CEOs and senior leadership

Highly driven, self-sufficient, and growth-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience:

Focus on technology leadership roles (CIO, CTO, CPO, Engineering, Data/AI, Security)

Experience in nonprofit executive search (CEO, Chief Development Officer) is a plus

Familiarity with the Atlanta/Georgia market
