Our Production Shift Supervisor
role is a hands-on, out on the floor position instead of being stuck behind a desk for the entire workday. We are seeking a Production Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in operating a variety of machines.

Production shift is 2:30pm - 10:30pm M-F
Starting salary range
$55,000 - $60,000/yr.

WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?
Monitors and tracks quality through inspection rounds
Schedule's staffing based on production needs
Monitor and help reach shift expectations including machine run rates, setup times, breaks and indirect time
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees directly with production issues or needs
Rewards or disciplines employees as needed
Champions safety for shift
Develops employees' skills and efficiencies while creating a sense of urgency
Communicates between shifts and areas
Reconcile employees' hours to ensure accurate record keeping of hours worked
Maintains a presence on the manufacturing floor of at least 80% of the workday

KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Prior Production Leadership experience .

High School Diploma or GED
is required.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONS
Stamina & Mobility:
Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for the duration of a scheduled shift (8-12 hours). Must be able to frequently bend, reach, crouch, or stoop.
Weight Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally from floor to waist and waist to shoulder.
Manual Dexterity:
Constant repetitive grasping and fine motor manipulation of paper materials and machine components.
Range of Motion:
Frequent twisting of the torso and lifting above shoulder height.
Sensory/Vision:
Must possess tactile/touch sensitivity in hands and digits. Near and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required for quality control and safe machine operation.
Work Environment:
Ability to perform these functions in a manufacturing environment that may include high noise levels, varying temperatures, and paper dust.
