Production Technician - Weekend Shift

Production Technician – Simpsonville, SC
We’re seeking a Production Technician to provide mechanical and electromechanical support for production equipment, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment modifications, and upgrades. The position requires teamwork with engineering, quality, and production, and will involve shift work consisting of two 12‑hour night shifts over the weekend and one 8‑hour weekday shift.

Key Responsibilities

Setup and operation of specialized manufacturing equipment used for high‑reliability products.

Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Strong teamwork skills, including a positive attitude, good work ethic, and sense of urgency in completing tasks.

Strong mechanical and electrical skills.

Experience with PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Direct the activities of other employees and ensure that all daily production requirements are met.

Troubleshoot equipment problems, interface with other shifts, and work with engineers to solve manufacturing issues.

Required Qualifications

Two‑ or four‑year degree in a mechanical or electrical field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of related experience in a production environment.

Programming skills and line startup experience are a plus.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).Ability to read equipment schematics.

Ability to identify defects, abnormalities, and correct them when necessary.

Ability to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods.
