Hanna Instruments, a global leader and manufacturer of scientific instrumentation, is seeking a full-time US Marketing Manager to join our team in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The US Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing various marketing initiatives related to eCommerce and sales enablement to effectively reach target audiences, generate leads, and support business objectives.

Job Responsibilities for the US Marketing Manager

Led the US Marketing team to execute effective marketing strategies to drive sales revenue and to position Hanna as an innovator and knowledge leader in the industry.

Develop and execute sales enablement initiatives to maximize lead generation and customer retention.

Drive website sales and enhance customer experience by overseeing eCommerce operations, digital marketing, and product strategy.

Define and drive Hanna’s content marketing strategy to drive customer engagement (social media, Blog, Trend Reports, Industry Papers, Category Articles, Trainings).

Create brand and marketing collateral that will be instrumental in preparing tool kits aligned to key industry sectors and applications to provide solutions for the sales team.

Create compelling industry specific messaging and positioning for products that showcase their unique technology and testing abilities.

Serve as a thought leader to showcase Hanna’s value proposition by utilizing video, photos and media to drive engagement and customers to the business.

Conduct market research and analysis and obtain voice of customer, to identify changes to markets, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

Create a clear and consistent plan for product launches, including developing launch calendars and plans, messaging, as well as collateral and training materials.

Develop tools to track productivity of strategies, projects, and initiatives while monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on all marketing activities and results.

Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.

Develop and manage the marketing budget while delivering marketing activities within the agreed budget.

Collaborate cross-functionally, to ensure the successful execution of marketing strategies.

Knowledge & Skills required for the US Marketing Manager

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.

7+ years’ experience in B2B Marketing with a business focused on selling a tangible product.

Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire high-performing teams.

Proven track record of successful eCommerce and digital marketing management using strong analytical, creative and problem-solving skills.

Strong project management and prioritization skills, ability to create order and drive execution.

Experience conducting research and utilizing data to drive business decisions.

Strong communication skills to persuade others, articulate a point of view, and set direction.

Experience in a scientific related industry would be preferred.

Ability to work 5 days a week in our Smithfield, RI office.
