Position Overview:
Sr. AS400 RPG Developer with extensive SYNON experience.
Day to Day Job Duties:
Convert business requirements to solutions and provide specialist technical expertise.
Consult, review, and analyze business information to determine the solution efficiently.
Must understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Identify business process strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvements across a broad spectrum.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 8+ years of experience across the entire enterprise data center stack from the hardware to the application layer at major consulting firm or systems integrator.
Minimum 5+ years strong AS400 & RPGLE and RPG programming/development experience
Minimum 5+ years & full knowledge AS400 Database skills.
Minimum 5+ years SYNON 2E Ability to work independently is a must
Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or related field
Nice to Have; (But not a must) - Project lead experience.
