Technical Lead – Full Stack (AWS | Node | React | AI Tooling)
Hybrid (U.S.-based must be either willing to go in hybrid in Charlotte, NC or Detroit, MI)

We’re seeking a Technical Lead (Full Stack) to drive architecture, delivery, and engineering excellence across cloud-native, AI-enabled applications.
What You’ll Do
Lead full-stack development efforts across front-end and back-end systems
Design scalable, cloud-native and AI-integrated architectures in partnership with architects
Integrate AI tooling and intelligent automation into enterprise applications
Own release management activities (planning, scheduling, deployment readiness)
Conduct detailed code reviews focused on quality, security, scalability, and performance
Establish and enforce coding standards and development best practices
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through hands-on technical guidance
Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and implementation
Identify technical risks and propose effective solutions
Participate in sprint planning, technical estimations, and delivery commitments
Technical Environment
NodeJS, NestJS, TypeScript
Postgres or Oracle
Hands-on AI tooling experience (LLM integrations, AI APIs, automation frameworks, or similar)
AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, CloudFront
Monitoring: CloudWatch
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
Security & Configuration: IAM, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store
Frontend:
ReactJS, NextJS
Micro-frontend architecture & Module Federation
Client and server state management (React Query, Redux, Zustand)
CSS
Experience integrating AI-driven features into front-end experiences
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of software development experience
3+ years in a technical lead role
4+ years of cloud experience (AWS preferred)
Strong CI/CD and DevOps experience
Proven experience leading full-stack teams in modern microservices environments
Hands-on experience implementing or integrating AI tooling into production applications
Experience in highly regulated or enterprise environments is a plus
