Marketing Manager – Aviation Administration Division
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to support marketing and branding efforts for Fort Lauderdale-Hoover International Airport (FLL) and North Perry Airport (HWO). The role reports to the Public Information Officer and is part of the Communications team.

General Description
As Marketing Manager, you will lead marketing and branding initiatives, develop publications, manage website content, and collaborate on campaigns and social media. You will help implement the next phase of the FLL Master Plan.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, business administration, public relations, or a closely related field (degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or Communications preferred).

Experience

Four (4) years of experience in marketing, advertising, special events coordination, public relations, or closely related work.

Special Certifications and Licenses

Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Certification

FEMA Advanced Level PIO training

Advanced marketing training or certification

Valid Florida Class E driver's license (based on assignment)

Preferences

Master's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Journalism

Bilingual skills in Spanish, French or Portuguese

1+ year experience in Associated Press writing style and storytelling across news releases, speeches, newsletters, ad campaigns

1+ year experience in creating and posting social media content

1+ year crisis communications or reputation management experience in aviation or tourism

Scope of Work / Duties and Responsibilities

Review and finalize content for social media postings and publications (newsletters, fact sheets, website, annual reports, awards submissions).

Work with Communications team and advertising consultant to devise branding strategy and campaigns for FLL and HWO.

Write stories and content for newsletters, fact sheets, website, annual reports, and award submissions.

Manage website content for FLL and HWO and ensure accurate representation on external industry/trade sites.

Communicate with airport stakeholders, media, and internal teams regarding events and emergencies.

Create and post original content for social media platforms such as X, Facebook, LinkedIn.

Assist with film permits and oversee scouting and filming activities when required.
