Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will support needs of the North American marketing department to plan, develop, and execute innovative marketing strategies. They will partner with the marketing team to complete daily marketing tasks such as conducting market research, creating marketing presentations, liaising with internal (sales, etc.) and external partners (designers, printers, etc.), project managing trade shows, working with the sales force team, and other miscellaneous marketing activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform designated marketing tasks for the NA marketing team including market research (competitive analysis, Mintel, Euromonitor, IRI), PowerPoint and Canva presentations (category trends, product launches, regional client requests).
Excellent organizational and project management skills to conceptualize, lead & manage marketing driven industry events (industry trade shows, symposiums, expos, etc.).
Create, implement & evaluate communication initiatives (including advertising, promotions, industry publications, databases, email blasts) to accelerate & increase visibility of Symrise as a leading supplier. Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns.
Misc. marketing administrative duties (maintain/update industry sites like Prospector, complete event registration, monitor supply of marketing materials/giveaways, organize trade show materials, purchase market products, etc.).
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Marketing or relevant field.
1-2 years of marketing experience in the fragrance, cosmetics, and/or CPG industry.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Canva.
Must have a highly organized, creative, flexible, and adaptable mindset to complete a variety of tasks.
Experience in graphic design & familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, AI and/or digital marketing preferable.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The expected gross salary for this position is USD $55,000.00 - USD $72,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
