Lead Visual Storyteller (Video, Photo & Content Creation)

We're looking for a hands-on visual storyteller who can concept, create, and execute content end-to-end-not just lead it.

This role sits within the Communications and PR team and is responsible for bringing Niagara's business, people, and impact to life through video, photography, and visual storytelling across digital, social, and executive channels.

If you're someone who can take a loose idea, shape the story, and physically create the content yourself-this role is for you.
What You'll Do

Own the full creative process: concepting, scripting, storyboarding, shooting, editing, and final delivery across video, photography, and presentations
Create compelling, high-quality content for social, internal communications, executive storytelling, and brand moments
Translate business objectives into clear, engaging visual stories-independently and quickly
Produce video content end-to-end (directing, filming, editing) across a variety of environments-from corporate settings to active operational sites
Develop executive-level presentations and decks that combine strong narrative thinking with high-quality visual design
Capture and produce original photography (concept, shoot, edit) for use across channels
Stay plugged into cultural and creative trends, especially across social and digital platforms, and apply them in a way that feels relevant and modern
Partner cross-functionally, but remain personally accountable for creating the work, not just directing others
What We're Looking For
~5-10 years of experience in content creation, visual storytelling, or creative roles (agency or in-house)
Strong background in hands-on creative work-not just oversight (portfolio required)
Demonstrated ability to personally create content end-to-end:

Video (scripting, shooting, editing)
Visual storytelling / concept development
Presentation design (PowerPoint / Keynote)
Photography (shooting + editing)

Proficiency in tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and presentation tools
Strong instinct for what works creatively and culturally, especially across social platforms
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output environment
What Success Looks Like
You don't wait for perfect briefs-you shape the story yourself
You're equally comfortable behind the camera, in the edit, or building a deck
Your work is clear, engaging, and visually strong, not overly conceptual or abstract
You balance speed and quality, delivering content that performs
