As a Lead Field Service Representative, you will be providing operations, maintenance & repair expertise on water treatment systems at a variety of customer sites. This is a traveling role that will assist and cover our clients throughout the Great Lakes region including: Michigan, Northern Indiana, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. Candidates must live within that territory to be considered.
What you will do:
Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
EHS (Environment Health & Safety) is always at the core of every activity and process
Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site‑specific testing requirements – Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
Consult with customer management and operation teams
Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
Other duties as required

PLC Programming
Education & Experience Required
High School Diploma / GED
Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
Valid Driver's License
Preferred (if applicable)
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (STEM)
5+ years of experience in a field service, plant production or technical support role.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
Working Conditions
Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity
Ability and willingness to work confined space entry
Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial
Ability and willingness for on call status for emergency response
Travel 80 – 90%
This position is an hourly position that is overtime eligible

Compensation – The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $33‑$40 USD (No Bonus)
