Alexander Associates, Inc. (AAI) is seeking a responsible and energetic individual to join our sales agency as a Sales Coordinator/Office Administrator. This position will support our team of Sales Engineers and handle day-to-day inside sales and office management at our office on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This position requires the successful candidate to be in person in our Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office. Remote work is not available for this role.

The Sales Coordinator/Office Administrator plays a critical role in supporting sales execution and maintaining operational discipline across the organization. This position ensures that sales processes, customer communications, and internal workflows are managed with accuracy and consistency.
The role combines sales operations leadership, office administration, and executive-level support, helping direct leadership attention to the highest-value activities, while ensuring day-to-day business functions run smoothly and efficiently. Success in this role requires initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while reinforcing accountability and follow-through.
Support implementation of CRM for prospect and quote pipeline tracking.
Manage CRM as needed for individual Sales Engineers to ensure pipeline integrity.
Report the team metrics and support forecasting.
Key Responsibilities – Executive and Administrative Support
Draft, send, and manage emails on behalf of executive leadership as appropriate.
Track and follow-up on customer and principal action items to ensure timely resolution.
Prepare briefs, summaries, and supporting documentation.
Provide administrative coordination support to executive leadership as needed.
Key Responsibilities – Office Management
Maintain overall office readiness and organization, including ordering supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers to address technical issues and maintain operational continuity.
Support in-office meetings and customer visits, including preparation of meeting spaces and materials.
Serve as the initial point of contact for visitors and incoming communications.
Coordinate meeting logistics and related arrangements as needed.
Minimum Qualifications*:
Must be 18 years old or older
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in sales operations or administrative support.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The employer does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
2+ years of experience in sales operations, administrative support, or office management
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, CRM systems and AI prompting/usage
Type minimum 60 words per minute
Able to work independently
Valid driver’s license – must have reliable transportation

Prolonged stationary work is required while performing computer-based tasks, including reviewing information on a screen and preparing, editing, and processing documents and data.
Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment is required.
Ability to move within the office environment as needed to access files, equipment, and meeting spaces.
Ability to move office materials and equipment weighing up to 10 pounds as part of routine office tasks, and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis
Alexander Associates, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package along with a pleasant, professional work environment.
Hourly wages with average annual compensation ranging from $55-65K (negotiable).
