The Chrome Technician is responsible for producing high quality polish and/or chrome application repairs to hydraulic cylinder components. Seeking candidates with previous experience in a related position; high school diploma or GED, preferred./ppRequirements for the Chrome Technician position include:/pulliThorough knowledge of chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of chemical processes and transformations that occur./liliKnowledge of chemical interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods./liliMust be able to use and read calibrated tools./liliMust be able to operate equipment required to perform this job./liliMust have good trouble shooting skills./liliStrong mechanical aptitude./liliSelf-starter able to work with limited supervision./liliProficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and service software./liliMust be able to complete service reports and provide pertinent details for work orders./liliExcellent customer satisfaction skills./liliMust be able to handle high volume of work in a fast-paced environment./liliMust be able to occasionally operate heavy machinery./liliMust be able to additional hours to meet business and customer demands./liliMust be able to positively interact with supervisor and to understand problems and concerns relating to a repair./liliRequires good communication skills./liliMust be able to work as an integral part of a team./liliPromote a positive customer experience./liliUphold the Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence and Teamwork by embracing The Carter Way./li/ulpPhysical requirements must be met for the Chrome Technician job, including regularly being required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
