Description
Join a fast-paced, collaborative team where you'll play a key role in driving operational success from order receipt to final shipment. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with multiple departments, manage critical orders and contracts, support compliance initiatives, and help ensure products are delivered efficiently and strategically.
About the Role
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business activities with Group and Business strategy while ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
Manage orders and contracts from receipt through processing and shipment, overseeing product allocation and alignment of available inventory with open orders.
Partner with Compliance to maintain accurate export documentation and ensure alignment to current and past orders in accordance with industry standards.
Coordinate with Shipping and Accounting to communicate order readiness, support shipment preparation, and ensure timely execution of shippable orders once payment terms are satisfied.
Maintain order tracking matrices, analyze shipment availability through month end, identify and manage gaps, and provide consistent customer communication and status updates on active orders.
About You
You are a detail-oriented and highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You have experience managing orders, logistics, and compliance activities while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and customers. With strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Excel, you excel at keeping operations organized, compliant, and running efficiently.
College degree preferred or minimum of five (5) years experience in production management, sales, and/or marketing of manufactured products.
Working knowledge of export regulations, including ITAR and EAR, licensing requirements, and controlled goods handling to ensure full legal compliance.
Ability to manage the full sales cycle from quote to delivery, including order entry, tracking, documentation, and coordination with internal sales teams.
Understanding of international logistics, global shipping processes, Incoterms, customs documentation, and coordination with freight forwarders to support timely, compliant deliveries.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across international teams, time zones, and military or government stakeholders.
High attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving ability, with experience managing contracts, export documentation, multiple priorities, and resolving order or logistics challenges.
Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems such as Great Plains or NetSuite, strong Excel skills, and a basic understanding of Barrett products to support reporting, sales operations, and customer needs.
