Relationship Manager – Family Office & Fintech
Our client, a successful financial technology and services company, currently seeks an experienced client service and business development professional with deep expertise in the fintech ecosystem to oversee all client interaction and service delivery for their assigned client relationships. This position supports the Service Architecture effort by assisting to craft innovative solutions to solve problems and meet the specific needs of individual clients. The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing complex client relationships, driving revenue growth, and leading cross‑functional initiatives from prospecting through contract execution.

Responsibilities

Act as first escalation point for clients; liaison between clients and internal groups.

Maintain, and expand as necessary, each client’s reporting infrastructure and output.

Monitor, measure and report to senior management on open inquiry case management issues by serving as an escalation point to resolve client issues.

Ensure client deliverables are completed, approved and published accurately and timely.

Manage client expectations by properly balancing inquiries, special projects and periodic deliverables, as well as escalating new requirements and participating in the definition of solutions to ensure proper scope of services is addressed.

Guide staff in supporting client needs in the areas of platform usage, data mining and other inquiries that arise from deliverables.

Supervise and mentor/develop Client Coordinators and Associates including coordinating and reviewing their responsibilities and work product.

Guide other professionals and teams in understanding client transactions related to investment and tax planning to ensure proper recording.

Serve as back‑up to Client Service team when necessary.

Anticipate future client needs and work with management to craft proactive solutions.

Keep management apprised of client relationship status and high‑level elements; elevate client issues as appropriate.

Meet with clients to discuss progress and/or open issues.

Act as liaison to Implementation team for new client initiatives and special projects, as well as to further tailor current services or implement additional services.

Maintain awareness and knowledge of current financial trends in the Family Office investment arena.

Requirements

7‑10 years of experience in client service within the fintech industry

Proven experience working with Family Offices, RIAs, and Trust structures

Demonstrated success supporting business development and sales processes end‑to‑end

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and investment performance metrics

Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Experience managing or mentoring team members

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders

Must be relationship‑driven with a client‑first mindset

Possess commercial savvy with strong sales support instincts

Highly organized and detail‑oriented

Leadership and team development capability

Ability to operate effectively in complex, high‑touch client environments

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Experience with fintech platforms supporting wealth management or reporting

Familiarity with multi‑entity, multi‑generational wealth structures

CRM and pipeline management experience
