Global Senior Marketing Manager, Strategic Alliances - Acute Care and Monitoring

Position Overview
This opening will close on 14 May 2026. The role is an individual‑contributor responsible for supporting commercial execution and strategy between Medtronic and its Strategic Alliance partners, with a focus on enabling ACM growth through partnership channels. The position reports to the Sr. Director of Strategic Alliances Commercialization and requires independent development and implementation of partnership initiatives that align with Medtronic’s commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

Support and drive the Strategic Alliances commercial strategy, aligned with overall Class of Trade strategies across business and regions.

Develop key commercial market strategies, including pricing, competitive, launch, branding, and support regional campaigns.

Effectively communicate the commercial strategy in a clear and concise manner across the organization.

Ensure proper segmentation of target audience and a unique value proposition that resonates with each segment.

Support key product launches with OEM partners to increase utilization of ACM technologies.

Create programs or initiatives that develop the market or gain share, providing clear guidance, prescriptive actions, and tracking to expected outputs.

Collaborate with regional counterparts on implementing programs and driving key activities in top customers, target customers, or areas for growth.

Use strategic thinking to participate in decision analysis, problem formulation, meeting facilitation, data collection, model development, and presentation to senior leadership.

Partner with sales leadership and sales training to ensure teams are trained and equipped to execute programs.

Communicate regularly with regional marketing and field sales forces regarding programs and initiatives.

Provide timely and frequent communications to regional teams on best practices, implementation strategies, and tactics to increase market penetration.

Analyze and report to senior leadership and cross‑functional partners on market trends, market share within key regions, and plans to gain market share.

Identify and propose solutions to gaps in the current approach and lead efforts to secure customer/partner loyalty.

Create content to promote, increase awareness, or support key strategies, including co‑branded opportunities, digital asset development, and demand generation campaigns.

New Product Introduction

Develop product launch methodology for new launches within OEM partner integrations.

Develop messaging and creative, manage agencies, and provide portfolio knowledge for road‑mapping and obsolescence strategies.

Training

Partner with Global Sales Training to develop and implement sales training curriculum and content for Strategic Alliance partners and regional teams.

Qualifications – Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

For qualifications earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Additional Qualifications – Nice to Have

Experience within the Monitoring industry.

Experience working across strategic partnerships.

Strategic agility, structured thinking, intellectual curiosity, and ability to turn detailed data analyses into succinct insights.

Ability to achieve results by working cross‑functionally and collaboratively across a matrix organization.

Self‑starter with initiative and project‑management skills for multiple concurrent projects.

Basic knowledge of business functions within a large organization, including Operations, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Sales, and Marketing.

Working understanding of financial documents—income statements, budgeting, and financial decision‑making methods.

Excellent communication skills.

Competitive salary range for U.S. locations (USD): 133,600 – 200,400.
