Pro Tem Practicum Supervisor - Open Pool

Annual Basis: 9 months
Pool open until June 30, 2026.
Position Summary
Supervisors will provide individual coaching and feedback to students enrolled in Special Education programs during practicum and student teaching experiences. Appointment level varies, based on supervisory load. Hours vary depending on graduate students' schedules. Travel to field placement sites around Oregon is required. Positions are limited-duration appointments, renewable for up to a total of three years, ranging from one to three terms per year, including summer.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in special education, early childhood special education, or closely related discipline; currently hold, or have held, a teaching license in appropriate subject area in Oregon or another state, or Oregon Department of Education Early Childhood Authorization.
Three years of teaching experience at the appropriate level and/or content area.

Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, follow instructions, attend to details, and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work successfully with diverse populations.
Ability to work with diverse students and adhere to the University of Oregon policy to support and value diversity.
