Clothing Designer

Responsibilities:

Design seasonal collections in line with brand identity and market trends
Create mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, and spec sheets
Select fabrics, trims, and materials
Collaborate with the product development and production teams from concept to final sample
Stay current with fashion trends, color forecasting, and emerging styles
Attend fittings and make necessary adjustments to designs
Ensure all designs meet quality, fit, and production standards
Present design concepts to internal teams

Qualifications:

Degree in Fashion Design or related field
3+ years of experience designing for a fashion brand (children’s wear, womenswear, or menswear—based on your niche)
Strong sketching and technical drawing skills (hand and digital)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop)
Excellent understanding of garment construction and fabric behavior
Detail-oriented with strong communication and time management skills
