Overview
Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a creative and professional General Manager to help administer our music school in Schaumburg, IL. The General Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for our students, families, and teachers to ensure the smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to phone calls and emails from students and families regarding enrollment, scheduling, and other requests for information
- Hire, schedule, and interface with teachers to help them manage their student schedules
- Help manage our website, newsletters, and social media presence to represent the school to our local community
- Assist payroll team in verifying attendance and approving time-off requests
- Help organize and execute student performance opportunities and other community events
- Ensure facilities are properly stocked and teachers are fully supported with any necessary equipment/materials
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be an organized, motivated self-starter with a strong customer service mindset. A demonstrated interest in Music and Music Education would be an asset.

This posting is for Schaumburg Music Academy, located in Schaumburg, IL. Founded in 1973, we pride ourselves on providing fun, personalized, and professional music education to students of all skill levels in a positive and welcoming environment. We teach voice, piano, violin, guitar, drums, and a handful of other instruments, and maintain an enrollment of over 200 weekly students.
Pay Range: $40,000-45,000 per year with 5% profit sharing
