Job Summary
WTOC, a legacy television station based in Savannah, GA, seeks a self‑motivated videographer who can work independently and as part of a team. The role involves gathering video and audio for stories, interviewing subjects, and capturing live shots, followed by editing content for broadcast and digital/s­ocial platforms. This position is open to both entry‑level candidates and those with more experience in a camera‑based role. Training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

Gather video, sound, and interview footage for stories.

Execute and set up daily live shots during assigned shifts.

Edit stories for television broadcast and web/social media outlets.

Contribute to the full editorial process, including sourcing, story construction, and presentation.

Use ENG cameras, cellular LiveU devices, and other production equipment as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in journalism, TV production, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).

Non‑linear editing experience preferred, but not required.

Ability to post content on social media platforms.

Physical capability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Flexible schedule with on‑call assignments.

MVR check required pre‑employment.
