Job Overview
The Integrated Account Executive is responsible for building marketing partnerships with local and regional businesses to help their businesses grow through the vehicle of the Hubbard Seattle marketing assets. Identify marketplace opportunities, prospect and engage new clients, develop proposals, and manage the contract process, while ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Meet monthly and annual sales goals.
Establish specific sales goals and determine course of action required to successfully achieve potential and meet established objectives in coordination with station management.
Prospect and develop new clients in accordance with new business goals.
Establish and maintain customer relationships, communicating effectively with a wide range of personalities in a professional and courteous manner.
Inform sales management regarding status of assigned accounts, existing marketing opportunities, marketing developments, sales climate, and other communication or data regarding other radio stations, clients, media, etc.
Use your understanding of digital marketing solutions and your desire to help solve their marketing challenges to create impactful Power Point presentations that tell an effective story for clients and prospects.
Use your project management skills to juggle many tasks at once and interface effectively with other departments to assure client satisfaction, including generating required paperwork and other appropriate documentation required by both the client and the company.
Coordinate and provide accurate continuity information, which may include writing commercial copy, to the traffic department on a timely basis.
Monitor assigned Accounts Receivable and assist in the collection process, if necessary, to ensure timely payment from assigned customers.
Participate in learning and growth opportunities within and outside the Company.
Help to create a positive and fun work environment.
Assist with other duties as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
The starting base salary ranges from $60,000 to $150,000 annually. Additional commissions or bonuses may be earned above the base salary.
Qualifications
Previous sales, advertising, digital sales, or media experience required.
Knowledge of, and familiarity with (or ability to learn) broadcasting and digital marketing terminology, including the features and benefits of advertising and competitive media.
Experience developing presentations for the purpose of direct business selling and ability to effectively present and communicate.
Demonstrated effective negotiation and closing techniques.
High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
Ability to maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clients.
Ability to think critically, analytically, creatively, and logically; and to articulate information in clear, concise manner to others.
Excellent command/highly proficient in spoken and written English
Ability to read, hear and speak clearly and follow both oral and written direction.
Proficient in Windows 365
Sales software knowledge helpful.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and a safe driving history as determined by the Company for the purpose of meeting clients and attending events. (Driving record will be checked.)
Ability to work established schedule and other hours as needed.
Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to manipulate computer keys and general office equipment (telephone, copier, etc.). Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. The Company may make reasonable accommodations to facilitate the ability to perform essential job function.
